Communities affected by displacement, disasters, conflict, disease outbreaks, and other emergencies often face increased vulnerability, food insecurity, and loss of livelihoods. Hunger Fighters Uganda is committed to providing timely and effective humanitarian assistance to individuals and communities facing crises.
Our Humanitarian Assistance Program focuses on protecting lives, restoring dignity, and supporting recovery among vulnerable populations. Working closely with communities, government institutions, humanitarian agencies, and development partners, we deliver interventions that address urgent needs while laying the foundation for long-term resilience and recovery.
Over the years, HFU has supported refugee-hosting communities and vulnerable households through food security assessments, humanitarian response initiatives, community engagement, and livelihood recovery programs. Our approach emphasizes community participation, accountability, and respect for human dignity.
