Driving Change Through Evidence and Action
Sustainable solutions to hunger and malnutrition require informed decision-making, strong policies, and evidence-based interventions. At Hunger Fighters Uganda, research and advocacy play a critical role in shaping programs, influencing policy, and promoting accountability in efforts to improve food and nutrition security.
Our Research & Advocacy Program generates knowledge and evidence that informs development initiatives, strengthens community interventions, and contributes to national and global conversations on hunger, nutrition, agriculture, and social development. We conduct assessments, studies, surveys, and evaluations to better understand community needs and identify effective solutions.
Beyond research, we actively engage stakeholders, policymakers, development partners, and communities to advocate for policies and actions that address the root causes of hunger, poverty, inequality, and vulnerability.
